چکیده

Wheat blast (Magnaporthe oryzae Triticum) in Bangladesh and South America is recognized as one major limiting factor of wheat production. Its control using chemical pesticides raises concerns about food safety pesticide resistance, which have dictated the need for alternative management approach, nutrient supplementation could be an ecofriendly alternative. Experiments were carried out under confined net house condition two consecutive cropping seasons. Single doses nutrients (Si, B Zn) incorporated during soil preparation. Plants susceptible variety BARI Gom-26 inoculated with spores (1 x 107 ml-1) Magnaporthe Triticum at vulnerable pre-heading stage 52 days age. Typical symptoms spike bleaching from top to downward appeared on sight 14 after inoculation i.e., 66 age crop. Incidence severity scored four times starting 68 @ three day’s interval. None stop incidence wheat; however, some reduced significantly. Solo application Si, Zn or combination caused significant reduction bleaching. With mixed Zn, > 47% was obtained. The results revealed that silicon, zinc boron had a synergistic effect intensity disease wheat. Int. J. Agril. Res. Innov. Tech. 11(2): 76-84, Dec 2021

TPS1 drug design for rice blast disease in magnaporthe oryzae

Magnaporthe oryzae (M. oryzae) is a fungal pathogen and the causal agent of rice blast disease. Previous lipidomics analysis of M. oryzae demonstrated that trehalose, a carbohydrate common to various fungi and algae, is thought to be involved in the possible conversion of glycogen into triacylglycerides for energy, an important step in the pathogenesis of M. oryzae. A key enzyme responsible for...
